Contact Lenses, Made To Measure

The surface of your eye is as individual as your fingerprint. Mark'ennovy builds contact lenses to your exact measurements, the way a tailored suit is cut to fit, for prescriptions and eye shapes standard lenses were never designed to cover.

When A Standard Lens Isn't Quite Right

Most contact lenses are manufactured in a fixed set of standard parameters, base curves, diameters, powers, which is efficient and works well for the majority of prescriptions. But eyes don't come in a fixed set of shapes, and some prescriptions, particularly higher hyperopia, higher myopia, or more significant astigmatism, sit outside what standard ranges were built to cover.

Mark'ennovy takes the opposite approach: every lens is manufactured to the individual's own measurements, the same logic behind custom-fitted shoes or a tailored suit. For eyes that standard lenses haven't served well, that difference in fit and optical precision is often exactly what's been missing.

MYOPIA CONTROL

MYLO

A monthly myopia control lens for children using extended depth of focus optics, custom-built for a still-growing prescription.

Filters blue light and blocks 93% UVA and 99% UVB, available in multifocal designs for adults and dedicated designs for children.

HIGH OXYGEN

Saphir Rx

A high oxygen silicone hydrogel material across an extended prescription range, with astigmatism axis correction to within 1 degree.

HIGH WATER CONTENT

Gentle 59

A high water content material with a similarly extended prescription range to Saphir Rx, for wearers who prioritise surface hydration.

Who Benefits Most

Custom Lenses Are For More People Than You'd Think

Extreme Prescriptions

Higher hyperopia or myopia than standard ranges cover, corrected precisely rather than approximated with the nearest available power.

Significant Astigmatism

Axis correction in 1-degree increments, for eyes where a standard toric hasn't given consistently sharp vision.

Standard Lenses That Haven't Worked

If off-the-shelf lenses have never quite given you comfortable, stable vision, a custom fit is often the next genuinely useful step.

Common Questions

Mark'ennovy Questions We're Asked Often

Why would I need a custom lens instead of a standard one?
Mass-produced lenses are made in a limited set of standard parameters, which covers most prescriptions comfortably. If your prescription, astigmatism, or corneal shape sits outside that standard range, or a standard lens just hasn't given you sharp, comfortable vision, a made-to-measure lens is built to your exact numbers instead of the nearest available option.
How high a prescription can Mark'ennovy correct?
Their custom range covers hyperopia to +30.00D, myopia to -30.00D, and astigmatism to -8.00D, with astigmatism axis correctable in 1-degree increments. That covers prescriptions most standard lens ranges simply don't offer.
Is MYLO the same as other myopia control lenses like MiSight?
MYLO is Mark'ennovy's own myopia control design, using extended depth of focus optics in a monthly lens rather than a daily disposable. We'll compare it against our other myopia control options, including MiSight and Stellest, to find the best fit for your child.
Are custom lenses more expensive than standard contact lenses?
Generally yes, since each lens is manufactured individually to your measurements rather than produced in bulk. We'll talk through the cost alongside the fitting once we know which Mark'ennovy design actually suits your eyes.
Who is a good candidate for Mark'ennovy custom contact lenses?
Mark'ennovy suits patients who've been told a standard lens doesn't fit well, patients with high or unusual astigmatism, and anyone whose prescription, corneal shape or eye size falls outside standard manufacturer ranges. We generally reach for it after standard soft lens options have been tried and haven't given the fit or vision we're after.
How long does it take to get custom Mark'ennovy lenses made?
Because each lens is manufactured to your specific measurements rather than pulled from stock, custom Mark'ennovy lenses typically take longer than a standard soft lens, often a couple of weeks. We'll confirm an expected timeframe once your order is placed.
Can Mark'ennovy lenses correct very high prescriptions?
Yes, this is one of Mark'ennovy's particular strengths. Their custom manufacturing allows for a much wider power range, including high astigmatism and irregular corneal cases, than most standard soft lens ranges can accommodate.
Do I need a special fitting process for Mark'ennovy lenses?
Yes. Because these lenses are custom manufactured, we take more detailed measurements of your cornea, eye shape and prescription than for a standard soft lens fitting, and generally review the fit once your custom lenses arrive to confirm everything is correct before finalising your order.
Is MYLO suitable for children with high or fast-progressing myopia?
MYLO is one of several myopia control options we consider for children, and its extended depth of focus design in a monthly lens format can suit families who prefer a monthly replacement schedule over daily disposables. We'll compare it against MiSight and Stellest for your child's specific prescription and progression pattern.
Where can I get fitted for Mark'ennovy custom contact lenses in Melbourne?
We fit Mark'ennovy custom lenses at our Kew East practice, often for patients other practices haven't been able to fit successfully in a standard lens. We see patients from across Melbourne's inner east and further afield specifically for complex custom contact lens fittings.
